Introduction

This is my first blog and the topic is ROS,πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Let me introduce my self, I am Shivam Kulkarni , pursuing mechanical engineering degree from JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering and as a part of robotics team of college, Team Cipher.... I was introduced to ROS, learning it, solving errors and accomplishing the tasks given by team leaders was a great journey ,the part of it was ROS so in this blog and upcoming blogs we will discuss  about ROS and its applications and also we will be developing a project in parallel.

  •  so,  WHAT IS ROS ??

when I asked this question to my seniors , they were like , what you don't know ROS you are part of team since a year and you don't know ROS, start learning form now and start from ROS wiki and complete beginner tutorials at least.

So, ROS stands for Robot Operating System , it is set programs more specifically a Frame-work which handles multiple parts of robot at same time, when it comes to handle
a robot using a separate program for each and every part of robot it becomes difficult to handle manually and here ROS plays an important role.

so, in this series of blog we will develop a controllable robot using ROS and we will be simulating it ,also the material and experience I will be sharing via blog will be helpful in your ROS journey, this series of blogs is kind of tutorials, further in  future I will be posting projects on which am working with ROS.
